....and 596 yards in 14 games (43 ypg), as the LEADING receiver for the team?

If he was on a BCS Championship team, I wouldn't care about stats.

That's fine in our running back wins the Heisman.

With a 14-0 season and Heisman winning RB? Probably pretty well.

Well, the "underutilize talent" arguement wouldn't work considering they went 14-0 and their running back won the heisman.

Similar to the feelings I had when Flynn didn't lead the SEC in passing Stats.
Those BCS trophies sooth most problems.

Julio Jones was injured at the start of the season. We don't know if he is fully recovered. He never appeared as strong as he did in his freshman year.

Jones admitted Monday that an injury to his right knee earlier this season was "far more serious and far more bothersome" than any one let on, ESPN.com reports. (Jan 4)

Glad it healed up just in time to play us.

I wouldn't care as long as we were winning.

It would be all Crowton and Miles' fault for shitty playcalling and an inability to develop or take advantage of talent

What do you consider "winning"?

9-4?

Two straight trips to Atlanta for something other than the Chick Filet Bowl would give him the benefit of doubt.

The same ding dongs that believe Miles is a good coach display the same good judgment in proclaiming Julio Jones is not talented.

No need to hijack the thread. The question is related to LSU fans view of their team. I think inadvertently you have made clear that you don't care about a given question, just about your mission.

That's a fair point and I am guilty as charged.

That is kind of like the Saints fan that wants to change the Saints offense so Bush can have better numbers. Football is a game that one team wins or loses by points on the scoreboard. I think that man was a fan of Bush and not the Saints.
To answer your question if the team he plays for goes undefeated and wins it all his stats don't matter. The goal of the team was acheived.
