Per ESPN and Scouts Inc.: USC running back Lache Seastrunk?

It is a preview of the Army AA game and it reads as though it is already a reality. Is this an example of lazy-speculative reporting, or does he have info. that he is inadvertently divulging? You be the judge.

He also negated to put Auburn commit Trovon Reed:
He will team with receiver Trovon Reed (Thibodaux, La./Thibodaux) to give the West two players that have the ability to score anytime the ball is in their hands. USC running back Lache Seastrunk (Temple, Texas/Temple), the No. 29 prospect in the ESPNU 150, also brings explosive straight-line speed to the West's running back position.

quote:He's right. We never really saw Skyler Green once Les got here.
I doubt if I change my mind, but I'm still going to take the visit because anything can happen. I've just got to see the deal over there," he said. "I feel like LSU likes to play big ol' receivers and at Auburn they are shifty and run tricky plays with smaller guys. I feel like I fit in better at Auburn."

Trovon Reed (Thibadeaux, La./Thibadeaux) will play both ways on Saturday. He has been working out at receiver and corner for the West team. On the recruiting front, the four-star prospect will visit Auburn (Jan. 16) and LSU (Jan. 23). The Auburn commit says it would take a lot to change his mind. That is a good point I never thought about. He would fit well in the current Auburn offense more so than LSU's offense imo.
LSU, like USC, tends to go after bigger athletic types of WRs.

Defensive end J.R. Ferguson (Frederick, Md.//Hargrave Military) may win the award for most miles traveled by a recruit in the 2010 class. The 6-3, 272-pound bull-rushing end has already tripped to out west to see California, north to Notre Dame and south to Baton Rouge to check out LSU.
Having already taken official visits to LSU (October 30), Notre Dame (November 20) and California (December 11), plus a number of unofficial visits in the past, becoming enamored with a school can be easy. Ferguson is trying to avoid that and give everyone an equal chance.
"I'm kind of still open basically. I'm trying to take these last two visits before I really start narrowing things down," he said. "Each of the visits I've taken has had a special meaning to me. Going to Notre Dame and seeing the academics was the best I've ever seen. Going to California and see how the players are treated was great. Then going to LSU and seeing how I got along with the players was great too.
LSU is considered to be at or near the top of the list at the moment.

Thats Luper crap,we are recruiting him as a slot reciever. Trindon caught passes this year, and he's like 5'6. If he can't see it,well spend your time on the plains .

So you wouldn't consider TT, LaFell, Randle, Buster Davis, Dwayne Bowe as big receivers?
That's pretty much the highest profile receivers LSU has had the last five years.
And sure Trindon caught passes-- 3 for 36 yards in 2009. In his entire LSU career he has 7 catches for 72 yards.
Holliday is there first and foremost as a KR/PR. And he is one of the best.

My bad. Thinking about it for twenty seconds I did forget Early Doucet (even though I do know who to spell his name). Craig "Buster" Davis was mentioned though.

The West team also includes a number of explosive playmakers at receiver and running back. USC commit Robert Woods (Gardena, Calif./Junipero Serra) is the most explosive player in the game and ranked No. 23 in the ESPNU 150. He will team with receiver Trovon Reed (Thibodaux, La./Thibodaux) to give the West two players that have the ability to score anytime the ball is in their hands. Why do 5 star RB's like to pile up at USC? Don't they realize they can't all be the Next Reggie Bush...
