Am I the only person who thinks that coming back from an injury doesn't qualify you for comeback player of the year contention? Perhaps if it was a series of injuries that sidelined a player for 2+ seasons, but one injury that cost a player one season is bullshite.

Absolutely couldn't agree more. The dude went through so much crap in Chi town and was AWFUL when put in there. Then he's finally cut.
Dude goes to Cincy and is consistent all year.
That says a lot more about a comeback player than someone who was hurt and came back.

This is exactly what I was thinking. It's not like he started sucking at QB and then got his game back. He just got injured.

I totally don't understand this as well. I thought this award went to a player that has for the most part has not done squat and then comes back to have a good or great year.

No doubt. The guy was awesome before he got hurt, he gets hurt, then he comes back from his injury and is still great. Where is the comeback part? Because he came back from an injury? Really don't understand that one.
