Craig James and his son are ridiculous. The little turd probably deserved whatever he got.

How does he get fired after allegations? No harm was done?

LUBBOCK, TEXAS(AP) —Texas Tech has fired football coach Mike Leach.
The school handed a termination letter to Leach’s attorney, Ted Liggett, on Wednesday just before the two sides were to appear in a Lubbock, Texas, courtroom for a hearing on the coach’s suspension.
Liggett says the letter says Leach is “terminated with cause effective immediately.”
Leach was suspended by the university on Monday while the school investigated allegations that he mistreated an injured player.
Receiver Adam James alleges Leach twice confined him to small, dark spaces during practice after the player was diagnosed with a concussion.
Texas Tech plays Michigan State on Saturday in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.

Does he want to be an OC? I know of a job he could have...

Any schools that currently have Head Coach or Offensive coordinator positions open?
Posted on 12/30/09 at 12:12 pm to robbdawgus
Well, they had to do it before tomorrow or it would have cost them $800,000.00.

The more you hear, the more it sounds like you are correct.
Craig James comes off as an over-protective parent that thinks his kid cannot do wrong.
The james family sense of entitlement likely started when the young Craig James was at SMU collecting Comaros for tds. Now his son expects special treatment but gues what. You suck at the foosball. No camaros for you.

This is close to Fraternity hazing. Something that has come up over the years. Colleges have come down hard on it and can't look the other way. They did the right thing.

I find it strange that no coach or player is coming to the defense of James. I'm shocked TT let some punk kid and his daddy run Leach off. They must have wanted him gone and jumped at the first opportunity to carry that out.
Leach was the best thing to ever happen to that football program.

How much do you really know about "the little turd" his father or the situation? My guess is. not much.

Craig James may be a douchebag but his kid shouldn't get mistreated if he is injured. Theres too many coaches who are getting their rocks off by bullying a bunch of teenagers.

if the treatment was as bad as the James' claim don't you think another person would come out and backup their story?
Trainers, doctors, coaches, and other players have all supported Leach's claim that the events described by Adam James were not accurate.

Adam James is 21. Hardly a kid. Many of Leach's FORMER players have come out in supported Leach and have all but said that Adam is a pussy - which he is. College football isn't for whiners and complainers. shite doesn't always go your way - grow a set, take your losses and improve yourself. Instead, this kid whined like a damned spoiled brat who had to wear a pink polka dotted dress at her Sweet Sixteen.

no, they really didn't
they just fired the best coach in school history over gross hyperbole by a spoiled rich kid
and not only that, this was the same university that hired BOBBY KNIGHT after all of the well-documented player abuse cases at Indiana.
