i would like to see everyone else's opinion on how they would rank the in-state school in louisiana based on prestige and success in say the past ten years......

Mine would be:
1.LSU
2. McNeese State-Always in the NC hunt
3. Ull
4. Tulane
5. Tech
6. ULM
7. Southeastern
8. Northwestern St.

I'd put LSU & Tech 1-2. Everybody else would be tied for #10.

I feel Mcneese is better only in the fact that they compete year in and year out in D1AA.... I understand that on paper Tech is better... However i ranked them according to their success in their leagues...

LSU
La Tech
Tulane
ULALA
McNeese
ULM
Southeastern
Nicholls
Nortwestern

McNeese is a very solid DII so hard to put where they belong, solide DII program but I would rather be at Tulane or Tech than McNeese

I thought McNeese has had trouble getting past the first round of the FCS playoffs as of late?

After LSU, ALL the instate schools are either 1-AA or 1-AA quality with 1-AA facilities.

Yeah ... ULL does not have any of those ... Tulane has never lost to a FCS or Sunbelt school. Until they do - you have to rank them ahead of mcneese and ull or ulm

Football or all sports?

Tulane has been to Omaha twice and has a bowl win this decade. Definitely better than USL.

Latech has a better football team and a couple signature upsets but they're not on the radar screen in most sports.
