roll call: never cared about the saints until this year

i am from the baton rouge area and have lived here all of my life. it's not that i don't like the saints, just have always been indifferent. i guess it is because my dad always preached about the saints being a ridiculously pitiful sports franchise not worth following or caring about.
i'm still not crazy about the majority of the fanbase, but damn is that team fun to watch. brees is a lot better than the last quarterback they had. can't recall his name, but he was pretty terrible if i recall correctly.

I'm from fricking Monroe and have gone to a least one game every year since I've been 7.. God, if I lived in BTR.. I'd take every advantage of that!

this thread has basically served to validate my general opinion of the fanbase.
all this board needs now is representation from the homeless contingency who still manages to find its way into the superdome on sundays.
