Need help connecting XBox 360 to PC

I'm having trouble getting my XBox and PC (Vista) to communicate (mainly to stream music), and I'm pretty sure it's my router. I'm using a Linksys WRT54GS. The XBox is connected via eithernet cable to the router, and the PC is wireless. I'm confident the router is the problem because I connected the XBox and PC via a crossover cable, and they recogized each other fine. Two questions for those streaming media from a PC to XBox through a router:
1) If you have this router (or similar Linksys), what did you do to get it working?
2) If you have another router and it works, what router are you using?
