I watched three of Mathieu's games this year and I have been very impressed. He is every bit as good as advertised. I also have seen several ESJ games this year including the playoff game against St. Aug. As talented and physical Mathieu is, he was no match for D'haquille Williams. He is the 2011 version of Julio Jones. LSU must get this player.

He was matched up man to man with Rival's number one cornerback and scored three touchdowns. He is under the radar now but trust me he is the real deal.

What kind of WR is he? Is he better than Landry, Lewis, and Sylve?

IMO he should be one of top guys in the state next year. Right up there with Landry.

According to a few ESJ fans he's raw but has much more ability that Roydell Williams had. They say he's the best they have ever seen talent wise. Also said LSU has very little shot at getting ESJ players from this point forward. Not taking Lewis and the inability for most of their other 4 and 5 star players to suceed at LSU has muddied the water in that community. Lewis wanted to go to LSU but it seemed like the attitude from our fans and progarm was that we didn't want to waste another scholarship on another overrated ESJ thug.

There is also another issue with this kid. He is a freshman in school this year but a junior in football. That means he is going to need to jump three grades in one year to go to college......

Yeah, I seen this kid play against Hahnville, he is the real deal, kid beat double coverage all night and has prolific hands, he will definately have to go juco or prep though!!

I do not know him personally but I have heard from fans at ESJ that he was suspended for fighting at school. Also the fanbase at ESJ were really vocal at the St. Aug game in their dislike for Miles. A lot of people were saying it's "Roll Tide". That's not the only highschool game I have been to and heard some of the same reaction about Miles when one of his current recruits have been playing. His coaching style is potentially turning players away.
