I am sure all of you remember this. If that team did it, against Ole Miss BTW, how come Les cannot do it?
Sorry if double/triple/whatever post - I tried to look and see if anyone else brought this up, and I did not see it.

in '72, the previous play was an incomplete pass, so the clock wouldn't start until the ball was snapped.
The clock started here as soon as the chains were set.

True, but we could have managed that, I think, since we are paying the manager $4,000,000!!

Assuming this is a serious post and not a flame, the circumstances were quite different.
The previous play was an incomplete pass. The clock was stopped and, at least per the offcial timekeeper, one second remained. The clock didn't start until the snap and the team was all there and ready, rather than running down the field trying to get set up with the clock starting upon the ball being ready for play. If you saw the end of Iowa and Michigan State this year, that is much more comparable to the 72 LSU-Ole Miss game than Saturday's game.

True again, Beltway, but I am a frim believer in the old Chinese proverb, which states :
"Man who say it cannot be done should not get in the way of man doing it."
And for $4,000,000, I believe someone could get it done. I'd sure like to try...

LM may be making big $$$ but I think it's too muck to ask him to alter the space-time continuum.

That's it. He needs to take more spice and learn to fold space.
