As well as the WR's played saturday for the most part (minus the drops), I am concerned about the overall acumen of this corps. It is probably the coaching and no reflection per se on the players themselves.

...........but did anyone else notice that on obvious blitz's, the recievers didnt make adjustments? Usually when you see a blitz comming, the reciever or recievers check to a different route to allow the QB a chance to get the ball off more quickly. On several of the sacks where the blitz was comming and obvious, I saw all our recievers streaking down the field on fairly deep routes. What is going on?

DJ McCarthy is as done as Studrawa and more done than Crowton.

EXACTLY! Blitz = WR recognizing and cutting off their route or running quick slant.

LaFell was a big reason we LOST that game...and the Miles/Crowton cluster of course.

He was also the reason we had a chance to win the game.

I just cant find it in myself to blame the players. This problem wasnt an isolated incedent. This is troublesome because.......

1) Very FUNDAMENTAL here.

2) We are one of the most sacked teams in the nation and this is one MAJOR contributor to that. It is a crime this hasnt at least appeared to have been addressed DURING the season.........let alone the second to last game.
