Telling team to get set, not to spike the ball? I know this doesn't bring back someone from the grave, but it does seem more believable that Les didn't call for a spike. Perhaps Les knew FG unit couldnt get out there (his fault) and called for offensive play hoping for TD or penalty?

Who cares, they let 17 seconds run off the play clock putting them in this inexcusable situation.

Miles is either,

A) A liar. Seems like a motion to spike the ball, yet he said in the post game PC that he didn't call for the ball to be spiked.

or,

B) He really wasn't calling for a spike, meaning he was telling the truth, but this means he is even more incompetent and disorganized than any of us could have imagined. He's the head coach for crying out loud. How did he not have control over this situation?

K. "Get set" but we didn't call a play.

Jefferson SAID it was called to "clock it".

its already been explained, and confirmed by LSUfreek that this video is of Miles motioning to the referees that Tolliver was down, while the Ole Miss players were saying they had the ball..

Even if that excuse is correct, it doesn't wash away the 20 clusterfricks that led up to it.

Love me some Freek, but he's wrong. If you watch the entire video, you'll see Lafell looking at Miles, then running to JJ telling him to spike it.

Watch the YouTube version and key in on Lafell. The call came from Les.
