PS3 Mic problems

I have a wired mic and peole can hear me but i cant hear them. Any suggestion? I have gone into settings and made sure the input and output are correct.

your earphone likely shorted out

dont know what to tell you then...I got 2 wired mics for my PS3 and they both work fine

nope no ones voice comes thur tv. people can hear me but i cant hear them. also can hear my self on the test on the ps3 settings
