Fans booing

I think it is just natural for fans, but I agree. You cannot boo amatuer athletes. Theya re doing their best. If they're not, they'll be benched. Honestly, do you think anybody struggles on purpose?

How does one specify who they're booing at?

I was specifically yelling "What the hell are you Crowton?" and boo after that in the student section. Although towards the end, did anyone catch the majority of the section was chanting "Russell Shepard!"

But honestly, is Shep that much better of a thrower? I talked to a few receivers i know and they say he isnt

Yup! They don't take it personally. In fact, the better you are the more likely you are to be booed. Very different than when your own fans boo you.

yep, I completely agree. I was a freshman in '01 so I got to witness first hand the downfall in the quality of our student section. Not to say the student section was ever a 'good group of kids', it just seems to me that by the time I was graduating the games had become more of a social event for the students and not a real actual game. the sense of entitlement these kids have these days (holy frick i sound like i'm old) makes me sick.

meh i think he was at first, 4th quarter he just gave up and threw the ball up for grabs cus he didnt want to get sacked. that is pussy shite. Also did you notice him standing on the side of the field by himself after the toliver hit? he is not a leader.
