NCAA '10 question

So I was recruiting the guy in the off-season and when you go to his profile to offer, promise, schedule a visit, etc., the guy had purple jewel beside his head. Does anybody know what that was? Or has anybody else ever seen it? There was nothing different about him when he came in as a freshman, so I don't know what the significance of it was. I've googled and can't find anything so far.

Usually means he is vastly underrated by the recruit rankings.

He was a 4 star to start with and about the #10 DE overall. I don't know how he can be underrated.

I have seen this and wondered the same thing.
Also, what is the deal with this 2x thing. Is it just randomly applied to people on your recruiting board each week or something?

When you are talking to someone, the green bar increases at twice the rate when you are saying something they like to hear.

i had the diamond thing to i found the guy and he hadnt been offered by me and I added him to my board and was suddenly moved to his top ten when i wasnt there before

same thing happened to me. He was uninterested but when I put him on my board I was 9th on his list.

Purple diamond means they have a big interest in going to your school but you aren't on their top 10 list until you talk to them
