What can Miles do?

I find it hard to believe that waiting until the end of the year to run off assistants is the only answer. I wish he would be more assertive myself.

He is not assertive or aggressive and that is the problem. His team is taking on his personallity. That's not good.

miles is loyal to a fault... there are worse character flaws

Maybe Miles respects his coaches and the fact that they all have families, etc that may be affected drastically by them getting fired mid season. Miles probably doesn't want to get a reputation as someone that is difficult to work for. That doesnt help his case in trying to attract quality assistants/coordinators in the future.
That kind of stuff usually will bite you in the arse in the long run, no matter what profession you may be in.
