He's at least putting pressure on the ankle and it's not propped up. Does anyone know how serious it is? I know they said he'd be limited in practice on Monday and Tuesday.

We really don't need him against LA Tech and it would almost be better if he completely sits out this week until next Monday. Because we will need him healthy when we go up to Oxford.

most likely precautionary. i took a line drive to the ankle playing baseball one day. doc put me on crutches just to be safe. i was fine the next day. i felt silly walking around school on crutches

Troy was better than LA Tech is. And the team isn't going to fold this year.

They had reasons to fold last year (not that it was right). But they had a crappy defense that couldn't do anything and an offense that kept giving up points, demoralizing an already beleaguered defense.

The defense is actually good this season, and there's hope for the remainder of the year.

I think they'll see what he can do later in the week.

Jarret Lee can lead this team to victory over Tech.

We need Jefferson for Ole Miss because their defensive line will be putting pressure on the QB. Jefferson's mobility was sorely missed in the second half against Bama.

What's the main difference between Jefferson and Lee? Does Lee run the option?

He shouldn't, but you can bet he will in our offense. Crowton doesn't give in to players abilities.

I could see LSU playing Lee most of the time and putting Shepherd in to run the option plays and wildcat formation.

LSU fans could all see that happening before the season, the option plays with Shep just aren't happening though.

With LM running this ship, this whole process of what is taking place may be one big charade

I was kinda surprised he didn't on Sat., he ran it against Bama last year and we actually got yds off it.

i cant stand number 12 (as a kid jarret lee might be great and i wish him all the best, as a football player at LSU i hate him) but he did in fact run reasonably well last year. better than JJ at least.

i hope Lee does start and we throw it 50 times. i hope he does well. if he is coming back next year, this is a perfect way to give him some confidence, while at the same time not forcing JJ back. its perfect timing and helps a hundred different ways.

of course if hes not coming back, just start Shep. 15 throws, 15 carries, drive home safely.
