Grandson told me last night he is thinking about Ole Miss ULL, playing time the reason, family may have forced his decision to commit

He may have some playing time concerns. I'm sure most kids do. Ask Randle and Shepard if they are on the field as much as they would like to be.

RE: his family forcing his decision to commit to LSU
My impression is that the family was surprised he committed when he did. Pleasantly surprised, but surprised, none the less.

Really?
If ESPN's stats are correct, after 8 games, Shepard has 28 carries for 225 yards. Randle has 6 receptions for 96 yards.
They're both talented guys. Their stats are what they are because they aren't on the field more often.
Playing time is a concern for any recruit.

Not a top-flight schools it isn't. We've played quite a few true freshman this year.. enough so that it can easily be used as a recruiting tool.

When LM told RR he'd play as a FR, do you really think RR thought, "Man, I can hardly wait to catch 9 passes in 12 games!"

It hasn't been 12 games, and LaFell, A SENIOR, has only caught 37 balls, Tolliver, A JUNIOR, has 38. Dickson has 13, R.J. Jackson has 7 and Charles Scott has 8. RR is next with 6.

Not bad for a true freshman on a talented team, when TT will be the only one of those guys around next year and in three years RR will be the man. I think he's smart enough to realize that.

I think RR's okay. I would hope that he's pissed about not getting the ball. I want players who want to be on the field. He'll get his chance and imo, he will be legit.

honestly if the kid is even flirting with the likes of ULL I tell him to decommit. Obviously he's already having doubts he can hack it at a big time program.
