First Hornets Game

Just got 3 tickets to the Hornets game Nov. 6, never been to a NBA game, taking my 5 year old son and my wife, does anyone here go regularly and have a good time or do they kinda suck?

I usually have fun, but it looks like it's gonna be a long year. If you are gonna go, best go early in the season

Thanks ForeverLSU2, Sup Payne, I was kinda torn between the Hornets and the DemonTrain, but I couldn't pass up the tickets and if my son has a good time I might make it a regular thing.

from my experience, people who go to their 1st Hornets game enjoy it a lot no matter if the Hornets lose or not. especially if they haven't been to an nba game before.

nba games are the most fun games to attend in person - especially with a child

I have been to 3 games, was a good time. Look for the man with a huge banner in the first row of the second deck, not sure whick bucket but he is line with one of the hoops looking down. He is the one who has had the banner that said CP3 MVP. That is my uncle. I saw him on sportscenter one time where they pointed him out and how loud he got the crowd going chanting it. lol.......

I have been to several, the time is ok. I have been on the floor during warmups, courtside seats, mid level seats, up high seats and suite seats. I have never really had a great time but it is ok. Nothing special. I personally like college games better to attend. Too much music and background stuff from the PA while the game is going on. The music while the game is being played is not typical basketball. Save all that for the timeouts and halftime/pregame stuff. Overall though, if you have a son/daughter then you will enjoy it because of the joy on their face. Me personally though, not my thing.
