Will they open it up again like they did last night or are we going to see them tighten up and play it more close to the vest like they did against UF? Hopefully the former as last night was a breath of fresh air and it would be very sweet to ruin Bama's chances of an undefeated season and a National Championship all on the same day.

We need to pass pass pass on bama. Thier front 7 will be the best we faced all year.

I agree with this. The one weakness of the Saban D is that it is weak over the middle. I think we should utilize Dickson a lot in that game and also exploit the body size of our wideouts vs. their DB's. Saban will definitely take the run away and try to make LSU beat him with the pass.

Thier bread and butter are those big LBs and stopping the run, we need to spread them out and make their LBs cover our WRs or sub in more DBs and get their LBs off the field.

The bama secondary hasn't seen receivers like ours yet. It will be a huge dynamic in the game.

We have the best in the SEC. We have to use them vs. bama. Make thier Secondary beat us. Our line is no match for thier front 7.

I cant beleive Im saying "make saban's DBs beat us", but thier front 7 is just that tough.

How many lbs. is T-Bob giving up to Mt. Cody? You're right..Their run D is solid. Crompton seemed to have a bit of success against them with quick slants yesterday. I actually think he may have had better stats than any of the other SEC QB's that have faced Bama's D

Tenn hurt Bama on the quick slants. WR would cut inside the DB on timing route and then gash them for yards after the catch. They will probably work on defending it better as they have 2 weeks to get ready for LSU, but if the WR runs the route properly it's good for 5-10 yards and gets the LB's to respect the pass behind them. Screens have also been effective against Bama.

JJ better be ready for the blitz packages! He hasn't shown the ability to read them and make a quick decision, so this is a big concern.

because Bama has such a good Dline, we can expect them to only send the 3-4 linemen and maybe 1 more rusher, because their Dline is so good. Especially with Mt. Cody. This will allow bama to drop back 7-8 DB's to protect the pass.

I actually think this might open up our run offense, and you'll see LSU racking up over 100 yards in rushing yards, TBH.

This is an important aspect of the game. We have to control this guy and especially on Field goals..........Blackwell to Guard?

Who cares if we ruin Bamas season. It is not like we are Vandy playing for moral victories.

We have to run the ball effectively to win. Be it on the edges or not.

We will need to:

1.) Not turnover---this is huge.
2.) Convert third downs--(We still dont convert well, too many negative yardage plays)
3.) Limit Bama running game, I think TN showed a hell of a scheme. With JJ (julio) not the factor he was, I dont know what else Bama can do as far as the passing game goes.

If LSU can't run against Bama, they will eat us alive. See Arkansas. We're going to need a balanced attack to beat them.
