LONDON games, and perhaps NFL team?

Personally I don't like this crap...I understand its a business, and going gloabal generates more money, but how crappy would this be? For London to get a team, and more games each year over there...F dat!
Anyone else feel the same way?

I think european expansion of the 32 team NFL is pretty unrealistic simply because of travel logistics. Canada I can see, but that's about it.

If this is just a limited scale part of marketing the league to make the SuperBowl ratings higher and get more TV revenue which all teams share, then I don't see any problem with it as long as the same team isn't getting screwed each time.

Which is all it is, imo. There will definitely be a team in Canada before Europe.

Yeah, they're called the Buffalo Bills.

When Ralph Wilson kicks the bucket, the new owners will be "nudged" towards a move to Toronto.

Goodell said if interest continues to grow, the NFL could have a franchise in London.

Well if the NFL continues to have single games in London then yeah, I can see the NFL establishing itself in LONDON, but to have a team there and all others here....I just don't see that working unless you have multiple teams there....

We'll keep football. They can have all our soccer fans.

My guess for the first international Super Bowl. Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. Approx 103,000 people capacity

The majority of people at the London games are American ex-pats anyway. If Goodell thinks there is a long-term market for a team there, he is sadly mistaken.

On the other hand, the NFL is actually very, very popular in Mexico.

I can't see that happening at all. The 32 NFL cities would throw an absolute fit. A big part of the reason they buy stadiums for teams is the hope of landing a SuperBowl and all the international tourism it brings.

I would love to see a Euro NFL team. I believe Japan have their own NFL teams. Then we can have an international Superbowl.

I don't like it. I was charged my usual season ticket price last year and only received an option to buy a london ticket. That was bullshite.
