Whoever said in the other thread that the kids from EDW had their heads down and knew Hilliard got in was out of their minds. Pretty obvious instant celebration on that side.
Also, was that Hilliard on the play? I thought he was #4?

I think he was down, but it was awful close.

No doubt, if he stretched the ball forward he's in. He hit closer to the 3 foot line than the 3 yard line.

i'll come eat some crow. from there it appears as if he doesnt get in, but its as close as it can be. i never once said edw cheated or anything like that. if the shoes was on the other foot, the edw faithful would have been saying the same thing.

Great job to those editing and posting the video. I agree his knee may not be down at the three, but it is a little confusing because you can see #3 (not Hilliard) have his knee down near the goal line, Hilliard's was down further away from the goal. In any event, good clutch call by the official in a high-pressure situation. It was a great play and effort by both EDW and Patterson.

That's awfully close. If the ref had called it the other way (giving Patterson the win) I don't think you could argue either. It looks that close.

That Ref was right on the spot on that call. He could not have been any closer or in better position. Nice video of that!

Don't really care, but I can't really tell where #4 is on the close-up. All I can see is #3,and he didn't have the ball. So I didn't see how the Video helped,fwiw.

im not ready to say that they dont cheat. just from games past and things ive heard. but this years game was fairly called. it does look like he was short. good game edw.
