We need a gameplan to unite and force the local tv station to dump the freakin Cowgirls. I moved here from Monroe 2 yrs ago and I hate that they get played before my beloved Saints! Thank God it doesnt happen too often. What can be done?

I have a similar problem. My mom is from S'port and all of my uncles and aunts love the cowgirls. I hate the freaking thanksgiving cowgirl tradition. i am in the middle of a cowgirl suckfest. What makes it worse is my little sister has a BF that just got a job with the cowgirls.

Your problem wont ever change s'port is a suburb of Dallas. they think they are texans up there.

If the saints had a patriots like run and the cowboys keep playing 8-8 ball things might change. But it would take years of sustained deep playoff runs by our beloved saints

Does it make you feel better to make stupid nicknames for other professionals?

personally, I think it would be easier to just remove "east texas" from Louisiana.

When I lived in BR we used to joke that Shreveport was a suburb of Dallas and U of Texas was opening a branch there.

I would never call them the Cowgirls.

I call them the Cowturds, the Cowbitches, and the Cowfrickers, but never the Cowgirls.

I've always thought that the states are drawn wrong. New Orleans has a lot more in common with Mobile and Pensacola. THAT should be the state...Lake Charles to the Fl panhandle and north to Alex over to Hattiesburg.

I would love this. I manage at the Hooters on the Boardwalk and I receive bigger crowds on average for Cowboys games. From what I gather, BWW is about the same. I think they need to go back to having a game up here for the preseason at the I-Bowl. It wasn't terribly exciting and it was with the Cowboys, but it allowed for the Saints fanbase to see a game up here. It makes a big difference which games you grow up watching. Dallas is 2.5 maybe 3 hours while N.O. is about 5.5 hrs away.
