I like Les, don't get me wrong. Les is a coach I respect and that I think has earned the ability to lose some games every now and then. But... watching the USF game, I just wondered how are team might be if Jon Gruden was hired? Would he even accept an offer? What would he be good at? (recruiting, coaching, etc.) Not saying we should even contemplate firing Les though.

I'm just wondering, as a coach what Gruden would do at a school like LSU or a school of equal prestige?

Gruden is commentating in the USF game, any more explaining I have to do before you decide to stop being annoying and state what you think Gruden could do with a college program?

Was just thinking the exact same thing. Dude has great connections in an area that has no high profile school in that area. Sure Florida dominates that part but I think he could steal a couple out of there from time to time.

Dude knows football he was traded for 2 first round picks. I love watching the Americas game piece done on the Bucs that first year he was there.

I'm sorry I'd much rather take the field vs Meyer and Saban with Gruden as my head coach. That fricker won't back down from anybody

No, I'm fine with Miles. He's a great recruiter and a great coach. But, so u will stop trying to find a reason to say shite about me, I will rephrase the question as "What could Gruden do with a college football program? What was he like when he coached in college?"

My name is in reference to the nickname of a former St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Laud) QB that was 6'2" 260 lbs but ok.

It's not the wrong board if it is in reference originally to what he could do with

I like Les also. Met him at a charity function. Speaks much better in person to person meeting than in interviews in front of cam. He's out in the community and participates in charity functions often.

Also, to recruit the top class in the nation last year and have 100% eligilbe is just unheard of. I mean that never happens.

He deserves a ton of credit for that class.

He also deserves a ton of credit for the Crystal Football.

However, Les would serve himself well to open his mind to some outside influence. I understand not responding to fans and I understand that his show at Walk-On's is mostly rah rah. That's probably how it should be.

But, giving coachspeak answers and denying problems exist where problems obviously exist puts virtually everyone off. This is a pattern that does not lead to anywhere positive. Ask Dinardo.

Now, I'm not saying that Les will go the way of Gerry. Les has already claimed a crystal football. But there are definitely some warning signs that seem as if they are being ignored. 109 on Offense is hard to swallow. Not blowing out ULL, having to get lucky against MSU, major warning signs. MSU's offense outscored ours.

Might be refreshing to hear Les say, that we the coaches have made some mistakes. I personally blew some in-game decisions. I did not have this team ready to play. The responsibility is mine. Next game, I intend to ......
