Just read Carl Dubois aricle and he appears "right on" that the play cannot be effective when there is only 4 feet between the QB and the trailer. My question is this, is JJ, when running it, veering away from the lOS as he runs parallel and that is what is causing the lack of separation or is the trailer moving to close to the QB. I think the issue is with JJ and not the RB. Any thoughts.

from what i've seen,jj takes a hard step away fom the los and it puts him too deep instead of going parallel to the los.i think that is what is causing the lack of effective spacing

JJ running at an arc instead of down the line
