Its always fun to read the predictions again after the game!
CBS Sports Game Pick
Game of the Week I: No. 4 LSU at No. 18 Georgia
J. Darin Darst, Producer: Sorry LSU, but you will be the latest top 5 team to go down. The Tigers' running game hasn't been very impressive lately and the defense is giving up way too many points. Georgia's offense has been better than expected and Blair Walsh is one of the best kickers in the nation. I expect this to be a tight game, with Georgia pulling away in the fourth quarter. Prediction: Georgia 31, LSU 21
Dennis Dodd, Senior Writer: LSU really was exposed against Mississippi State. Jordan Jefferson didn't look like he has much of an arm. Where the heck was Charlie Scott? The defense was carved up on basic plays by the Bulldogs. Thank goodness, the Tigers have the best player in the country (this week), safety Chad Jones. Georgia has too many weapons in this one. Prediction: Georgia 30, LSU 20
Jason Horowitz, On-Air Talent: A lot of people said Ole Miss was No. 4 last week, but hadn't played like a top 10 team. I think the same is true for LSU. The Tigers got three great plays from Chad Scott to stay unbeaten, but both defenses still have big holes. So who has the best playmaker? Georgia. I'll take A.J. Green for a big day and Georgia for the win. Prediction: Georgia 30, LSU 24
Johnny Rosenstein, Editor: If not for a goal-line stand, LSU loses in Starkville last week. Neither defense impresses me, though Georgia's showed some promise on Saturday, holding Arizona State to 17 points. The Dawgs needed two Blair Walsh field goals - one as time expired - to beat ASU after blowing a 14-3 lead. In Athens, Bulldogs win by a kick. Prediction: Georgia 33, LSU 30

I really don't know how he could categorize that as "carving up"

WTF???

You could predict LSU would lose, but some of the comments (Jefferson not having much of an arm) are just stupid, typical media disdain towards LSU.

Chad Scott is a big player for us......I remember the rant finding this gem last week.

Mark May was especially hard on the Tigers pre-Georgia.

Funny they all predicted at least 30 points scored on LSU.

One of the things I've seen a lot since the MSU game that really irritates me is the "but for a goal line stand LSU loses that game" business. How about actually knowing what the situation would have been? "But for a goal line stand, LSU would have trailed by less than a field goal with a minute left on the clock, two dangerous return men, and a decent field goal kicker."
