of the lack of sacks, or pass rush can you attribute to Jake Locker being very mobile. I thought alot of times we were in good position and Locker used his legs to avoid a sack. A lot of other qb's we will face wont have near the speed we saw last weekend

there will be plenty of sacks this year. we almost got to locker several times. they were only about a cumulative step and a half away from 2 or 3 more, and from everybody here talking about how sick our pass rush is.

I actually may agree with this. I haven't watched the replay so I don't remember just how much of a push the D line was getting. But Locker was very (and is sickens me to use this term) Tebowesque. I think the D needs to work on containment a little more to keep qbs like Locker and Crybaby bottled up and things won't look as bad as they may have seemed. That may not make a lick of sense to anybody and may not be the answer you were looking for, but it sounded good in my head anyway.

I dont think our defense has seen a white guy run that fast. He was faster than our linebackers. And unlike most qbs with that speed, he could throw.

The lack of sacks doesn't bother me nearly as much as not having the outsides secured...too many times the Wash qb or the backs made it to the outside and nobody was there to force them back in...

that happened alot with Ole Miss and Florida last year...we found a way to clog up the middle but they were fast enough to run around and gain big chunks of yardage. Not sure when or how LSU got "slower"...it's what it seems like.
