I dunno about you guys but I was pretty pleased with how Nevis played most of the night... Was in on quite a few tackles and got good pressure up the middle. What are ya'alls thoughts on how he played?

Loved Nevis' play last night for the most part. I think what I liked the most was his pursuit of Locker on a couple of plays... hot on his heels all the way to the sidelines. Nevis and Downs keep my hopes up for the line.

Plus you could always pick him out because of the hair...

haha +1 you can definately always pick him out.
I also agree with what you said about Downs... Only a true freshman and he made a couple plays last night too.

Nevis had a solid game, he stood out among the D-Line.

Josh downs looked to be about the only one getting good penetration when he was in. sad to see woods is still playing high and not getting off blocks.

+1 i dunno why he still plays so high

one thing i was disappointed in seeing was the lack of pass rush by our DE's.. The line as a whole batted down a few balls, but especially on the 3rd and long's Locker had all day to throw sometimes. I'll be optomostic and just hope that was due to the time zone fatigue lol.

Woods and Alexander should be benched. I'm for starting Nevis and Downs. No need to put AW and CA in the game to give the other team confidence.

No excuses, but I think their jerseys got stretched out a little bit during the game... Sometimes, they just refuse to call it.

Thought he played the best on the line, was disappointed in Alem. Didn't hear his name called much and thought he would be effective against the run which he wasn't.

Yeah, but it was a Pac 10 officiating crew, I knew it was gonna happen.

Besides the D-Line I dunno how many times I saw Hawkins getting tackled on an off tackle or outside run play lol.

There was definately penalties that were not called that should of been.
