I kind of hung my head last night as I saw the same confusion amongst players on D that I saw last year. They seemed to make adjustments real late and sometimes didnt know who to cover.

You can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

Did we actually have relevant film on the guys? If we didn't I would guess that could lead to confusion.

i don't know about confused, but they certainly didn't tackle well during the first half.

Watch the replays, there was a lot of shifting at the last minute, pushing players into the correct position, db's looked like they didnt know exactly who to cover.

This was nothing like last year. Last year they were looking at each other and running on the field at the last second. The only thing resmbling last year was the points and yards.

I blame a lot of our problem on bad tackling and teams being able to run up the middle on us.

Thats another thing. Why even run a 4-3. We cant stop the run. And we are supposed to be D-line U.

ultimate fail and you have no clue---players were not running in and out confused--they simply just did not make plays

They were out of position a lot. Maybe not as bad as the Co-coordinators. But they didn't seem to have the confidence every play like they knew they were in the right position. Look at the D-line in the replays. There was a lot of sliding and reposition g at the last second. And it wasn't like wash had a lot of shifting or motion either.

They were confused, not sure if you could see it on tv or not, but I constantly saw Jai Eugene going over to the coaches and waiting 15-20 seconds to get the play call in......so it didn't appear that the players were getting the calling until 15-20 seconds were left on the clock.
