Dr. Phil to Dr. Lou

Last nights Q&A session Dr. Phil askes Dr. Lou (not word for word)if coaches who get bent out of shape, screams and or gets angry on the sidelines sends a certain message to his team during agame. Dr. Lou says it tells the team whoa, we must be in real trouble here and maybe coach is lost. On the other hand a coach who shows restaint and calm will have his players think that coach will figure this out, lets keep playing.
I don't know if this was directed towards a particular coach. Any ideas?

I don't know, Saban can get pretty crazy on the sidelines and it seems to work for him. Miles and Meyer always seem pretty calm and it seems to work for them.

Unfortunately, I cannot get those precious minutes of life back after having listened to Dr. Lou. His lisp has gotten much worse this year.

I know. I don't particular like Lou but the guy is funny, whether it be by accident or on purpose. The lisp has a lot to do with it.

DR. Lou lost the very little credibility he had with me when he picked ND to win the NC this year. The dude is a clown.

He picked them to go to the NC this year because of their weak arse schedule. He said they'd get blasted once they got there.

I think it will be hard to get to the NC game bc they will most probably get smoked by USC; however, they could conceivably end the season with only 1 or 2 losses and that would give them a really good shot at a BCS game.

My favorite was the fact that as he was saying this there is a big picture right behind him of when he coached at SC going nuts on an official. Practith what you preath coath?
