First pick in my draft tomorrow
12 teams snake draft
6 pt pass td
6 pt rush td
.5 ppr
5 pt bonus for 300 pass yd, 100 rush yd, 100 rec yards

I had first pick last year in the same league and got shite on by Tomlinson so I don't like the Peterson hype obviously, but it's strictly being bias. Who would you pick?

I'd take AP. Not sure if MJD can carry his platoon productivity over to a full-time role... especially seeing how he is all of 5'7" 200 Lbs. With the first pick, I don't want that big of a question mark.

the only way to consider MJD over AP is if you are in a scoring only, or ppr league

I honestly think MJD is the safer pick here

With 6 points per touchdown...can't believe I'm actually going to say this...Brees is the safest pick. My league is 2 PPR and Brees still outscored the closest guy-Andre Johnson-by 80 points.

I'm not an advocate of QB first, but he is honestly the safest pick imo. Now you could always do like I said in the other thread. Pick up AD and trade him after week 5. His first 5 games are ridonculously easy, but it gets much tougher afterwards.

IMO- if you can trade out of the pick, this is a wonderful year to do so

this is a great year to draft a WR in rounds 1, but #1 pick is too high

if you can get an extra 4-mid rounder, unload #1

I really considered going with Brees, and in my league I'm pretty sure if I don't take him he'll be gone by the 4th pick.

If Brees throws for 300 yards and 2 TDs, its 29 points

If AP/MJD (or any RB) runs for 120 yards and 2 TD, its 29 points

Who is more consistent with these numbers? Brees

If I go with one of the running backs then I can pick up Rodgers or Romo when it comes back around, and they should be solid enough, but with the hopes that my first pick puts out the expected production. Ahhh Damnit I hate fantasy football!
