...a QB under 30 years old.

We have 98 living years worth of QBs.

Yes I'm bored.

i'm pretty sure he means on the entire team..

brees & harrington are both 30.. so you could say we fall into the 30 and under.

all QBs... Drew is 30, Brunell is 38, and Joey is 30. Every other team has at least 1 in their 20s.

God. The possibility of 6 (ish) more years with Drew at QB in New Orleans makes me very happy. How many teams would like to say that!

if you count the years he will retire then unretire, then 8.

no i think drew can go to 36 easily... but it depends whether or not he takes a discount to stay with us or go FA after next season. i dont think we'll see him and reggie in a saints uniform in 2011, just one or the other

Right, the Saints are going to let Brees walk after next season.

You are a fool.

dont be an arse. but after next season and with eli's recent 6 year 97 mill contract, we've got some serious cap issues to be able to even get close to that. by 2011 itll be 6 year 110 mill. so look at our cap through the 2011 season and get back to me

well how exactly are the giants able to do such a deal. seems like they have a lot of high salaries.. i'm sure we'll be fine also the cap increases all the time right?

I think Drew will stay, where else will he have that kind of a relationship with such an offensive minded head coach. They are exactly on the same play, and Brees does get to have a bit of input on the offense (btw. that is pure speculation and wishful thinking on my part)

oh i know its not a contest.... i was just saying.... and the giants are roughly 7 million under the cap and that with jacobs tag and eli's new salary..... one would think they are way over or right there b/c they are so deep at DL and RB... but they've done a great job in the draft.... im more than confident we will keep brees.... i think we'll actually rework his contract after this year....

ETA: and i think drew will be like tom brady and
give us a discount... even though said "discount" will be a shitload of money.

I'm surprised no one has calculated yet... picking Carney up we probably passed the Patriots for highest average age team
