this is about as legit as odd year bullshite

Anyone that doesn't think another Katrina type hurricane could not have far reaching impacts for LSU football has their head in the sand.
Not only does it disrupt the currnet team, possibly causing them to play numberous games in a row without a bye, but the aftermath of badmouthing that hurts recruiting come along with it. Another one like that in short order, would give the state a black eye and a welth of negative recruiting such as, "Why would you want to go there, with all that mess."

that was legit when Auburn was the main threat in the West...LSU had Aub, FL and Arky at home.

Well we did wind up in the SECCG they year of Katrina so.....

if we don't have a hurricane before Sept 15, the odds drop off tremendously...by Oct 1, almost never.....keeping my fingers crossed.....

I just have a good feeling about this team, and we'll know by midnight on 10 October.....

Well you asked if a hurricane is associated to success or not and look at the 2005 season to show you that it holds no weight.

A hurricane means no bye weeks or less. Yes it can play an effect.

But a hurricane...back to back years? Come on!

hurricane= excuse for bad play ....would probably let coach off the hook for a less than stellar season. not saying LM is looking for excuses.
