Tech/ULM football series

ULM recently decided to cancel all series with Tech, obviously in response for Tech's being afraid to play ULM in football. We all know that Tech views itself as a CUSA school, when in fact it belongs in the Sun Belt and nowhere else. Tech's worst nightmare, for some reason, is to lose to ULM. This makes no sense because no matter what happens to Tech, nobody on Earth gives a shite about Tech; this will always be true.
Being that Tech, whose travel situation is already difficult in the barely-contiguous WAC, doesn't get to play ULM in any of the non-revenue sports, do you think a ULM/Tech series will reappear on the gridiron?

You seem pretty bitter. Did you graduate from ULM?
LA Tech seems to be doing pretty well without playing ULM. Decent football team. Tier 3. I see them being talked about more and more lately. Why change something that seems to be working?
They're playing Home and Home's with Southern Miss and Houston in the near future, I saw in the paper. That's better than ULM, IMO.

Both schools will be fine without playing each other. If you are close to the situation then its so easy to see the arrogance of Tech. That's fine if they want to think and act in such a manner but don't expect ULM to help them fill their schedule in all sports except football. As a ULM fan I don't want to see any games with two.

Not playing ULM has done nothing for Tech. They simply have a delusional view of their value and choose to view themselves as a (significantly) more respected program than ULM, and it simply isn't the case.

ULM is scared to get on the field w/ these unis. They would get 'shown' up, w/ their little arena league apparel.

Hey, that's what Dorothy thought until she spent enought time in Munchkin Land.
Point well taken, though. Personally, I think all of these schools moving up in class are making a mistake and screwing up what used to be fun rivalries and conferences. Besides, 80% of the country couldn't give a crap about any of the lower tier schools in Div I. No offense intended.

. So what you're saying, anyway, is that Tech is playing in front of a sell-out crowd against a team that has never had a winning season in 1A/FBS.
