... guess a lot of people's mouths were writing checks their asses couldn't cash a few months back ... now you have people on the exchange trying to dump their tix for less than face value .. did these people not realize that seattle was two time zones away and would cost a little more than piling 10 dudes in an astrovan, driving to auburn and sleeping in the parking lot ?

i almost got fricked myself truthfully which i think happened to a lot of people

i planned on going all year long with my family...i did not book a flight until i wanted to be sure of having tickets...so the day washington started selling, i picked up 2...in the meantime, i had been monitoring flights for the past 2 months...they held steady at about 300 to 350...well, as soon as these washington tickets went on sale, the plane fees starting rising exponentially

i waited 1 day after i bought my tickets, and ended up having to shell out 550 bucks and flying on 2 different airlines...i think a lot of tigers fan feel the same way....southwest from seattle to houston is totally out of return flights home

with most roadtrips, tickets are going to be cheap at least a month out...not with this one and tiger fans didn't anticipate spending 600 per person per flight

I got my wife and myself two first class tickets on continental for 334/ea. Bought them on a tuesday night at 11pm around mid-March I believe.

I have about 125k Hilton Honors points so that takes care of the hotel right there...

Ok, get your road maps and start now. You might make it by kickoff.

I have been in Seattle and Spokane since April on and off.....for work.

Its a beautiful state and plenty to do there. I have been over to Idaho and Montana recently as last weekend for white water rafting which was great. So its not short of things to go and see and do and it is certainly nicer than Louisiana.

Seattle is like San Fran north with more mountains and less limp-wristers. Great weather there.

No cash this year for a trip. I never planned on going in the first place, but I understand the situation die hard fans get into...they want to go, but then it just gets too tough to make it at the end.
