The Tigers were the latest team to get "Hunterized". Big Tommy went 7, giving up a run. His ERA now stands at a nice round 2.00 ERA.

This guy is legit and he is really helping the Rangers make a push in the AL West.

I still think the Rangers need a bat though.

Thoughts, Rangers fans?

Thoughts

1. Hunter is the shite.
2. Hamilton needs to pull his head from his anus. Moving him down to 7th in the order didn't seem to help either. His swing and approach are all out of whack. If he can get it together, I don't think they need another bat.
3. The bullpen might benefit from another solid, veteran arm like Arthur Rhodes or David Weathers.

You, sir, are correct

He claims he is comfortable up there, but I am skeptical. I think it is weird that the entire lineup has struggled virtually the entire season (sans April). This team just can't hit for whatever reason.

Are you trying to pimp some Reds to me so you can get some of our prospects?

The answer will be Neftali Feliz.

I don't believe the Rangers make any trades right now because of the club's financial situation.

If history has shown us anything, it is that the Rangers will trade Feliz for a bat.

Naw, I just mentioned them because I am familiar with them.

I was referring to some veteran leadership.

This could be an issue.

I don't see Nolan doing anything crazy like trade Feliz. The targer was always 2010, this year is just a bonus.

A bat is needed for sure, not a big one, just someone who can move runners.

Thank you Indians for your victory over the halos last night.

I was watching the DFW Sports Beat last night after the game, and they mentioned Garko, Willingham, and SHEFFIELD.

Btw, is it just me, or does Tommy Hunter always look like he's going to blow chunks when he's out on the mound?

Garko

Well, he's gone..to the Giants. That trade happened last night. I would have been interested.

Willingham

Count me interested, if the price is right. I never understood why the Marlins traded this guy in the first place.

and SHEFFIELD

No thanks. Wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Well..looks like Padilla was scratched from the start tonight.

Doug Mathis will be starting in his place.
