There was a recent thread over on one of our fan sites about UF fans being the most hated fan base in college sports. Then there was a post about you guys being the most respectful towards us due to the fact that you guys have no insecurities about our programs,as to being the reason. Which may or may not be true. But anyway hats of to you lsu fans.

I respect the Gators, but do get a little tired of hearing about baby jesus every three seconds.

I don't have much against the state of Florida. Personally, I don't think that they belong in the south. However, I guess every region has to have it's own "california".

The U-Thug and 'Dawg fans have major inferiority complexes with Fla. We don't because we measure up. Personally, I think it's cool when the Fla crowd does the gator chomp to the Jaws music.
I would have bet that we're far more of a detested fan base. People call us corn dogs, and accuse us of turning over port-a-potties with little old ladies in them. We incite Ole Piss people to write fake letters from Texas pitchers' moms saying how bad we are. The A&M people despise us just a notch below their hatred of the Short Horns. The Barners hate us because we've won 2 BCS balls never going undefeated, and they couldn't win one while going undefeated. Georgia hates us because we beat them in '03 [twice] when they had their best team, and then we played in the '07 BCS NC and they got squeezed out. Ole Miss hates us because they're a bunch of fricking pussies, and we constantly remind them that the last time they won an SEC football championship, John F. Kennedy's corpse was still fresh.

I'm sure all non-Gator fans get tired off hearing about him, but give the kid a break. He's going to go into the history books as on of the greatest ever to play college football.

I hate Bama and Tenn.'s fan base way more than Florida's. Actually I have never had an issue with Florida's fanbase. Your coach is a dick but you got to give the team props for what they have accomplished.

You left out the Zero U people here in Okieville! They hate us cause we kicked their 4th Heisman winners arse and Tiger Baited the pussies into submission! Not to mention we were the first SEC team to keep them from winning their 8th NC and setting them on the road to 5 straight BCS losses.

Has there ever been a game which determined the last 3 national champions? I mean, we have to respect you, if we want our expectations to remain high. That being said, i've never gotten railed on for wearing LSU stuff like I did in the swamp last year

LSU is simply not a rivalry game for us. Thus even when the stakes are high, it's still not as intense as, say, FSU. Even in a down year.
Not to say we don't realize the importance of the game, but there's no bad blood.

Personally I respect the hell out of UF. That doesn't mean I'm not gonna tiger bait yall though.
Also, TT is one of my favorite college players ever. Including over some of our own players. But I hate him when he plays us.

didn't get the impression last year in Gainsville. Auburn, Alabama, and Ole Miss fans treat opposing fans way better
i know it was probably just a couple of bad apples, and we did meet some nice people, but it was my worst road trip experience (had nothing to do with the game).
