Side note...does anyone have the picture of Coleman when the camera was behind Gibbs? He had thrown his glove up and it looked pretty cool...

This picture makes me think of the characters in "Where the Wild Things Are." Do that. Pretty please.

My son said the same thing! Then he went to get his book to show me the specific "wild thing" he was talking about, and he was absolutely right! It is the one on the page where Max is in his boat to sail back home and the wild things are saying "Oh please don't go..." The first wild thing is in exactly the same pose as Louis after he threw his glove in the air!

It would really be great if one of you talented folks could do that one as the previous poster suggested. I do not know how to post images but if any of you has the book Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, you should be able to find the page I just described. Also, I could scan the illustration and email it to anyone who would like to try to do that one. I just don't know how to post it here.

Thanks!

Oh wow, it really IS the same. I was relying on my memory of having read that book, oh maybe a thousand times, over the years to my children. But that's exactly who I was thinking of. PLEASE fark it - and use Where The Wild Things Are captions. Put Augie or Bevo or heck, Ruffin, in the boat for that matter. It will be cool and we'll all love you so!

Oh that is just cute as can be! Thanks. I wonder if there's a play in here on Alex Box as the place Where the Wild Things Are?

Thanks so much Tiger Terror for posting the original illustration and Tiger1066 for the wonderful fark! I am so happy that "The Wild Thing" was a Tiger and chose to come back for his senior year! What a great year it was!

My son really got a kick out of this one! Great job and thanks again!
