I wasnt criticizing. It's just everyone mentions the bats and balls as the reasons the home run production dropped nationally. No ever seems to mention the possibility that steriod use was probably alot higher then too.

Well, we factually know that the homerun production dropped off when the bat changes were implemented. So, you are suggesting, what, that the players just decided to quit taking steroids at the same time. Did they figure it was no use because they would not be able to hit anyway. And all this with no hint of any kind of scandal about drugs. Say you are 14, so you can be excused you for this idiocy.

Maybe some were, but don't use that as a way to diminish our CWS titles, like Texas has tried to do on its board....many players were, including theirs, but for some reason, they weren't able to capitalize on it. Bottom line is we did what was legal at the time...everyone had the opportunity to do the same...so everyone else can STFU!
