Has anyone made this at home? Any tips or pointers.
I know to use cheesecloth to filter it, but should it be cut with water, how long did you let the honeycomb and bourbon ferment ?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've never done it at home, but I think I remember reading that they let it ferment for a month. Hope this helps.

if it's like infusing vodka with a flavor (lemon, watermelon, etc) i think 2 weeks will suffice
