My boys are hotter than a damn pistol! Hopefully they can sustain this level of play (it will depend on pitching)

To the Rangers

I've become a fan. Really great hitting, they're fun to watch.

No doubt..they've always been able to hit..I love how they are finally pitching. Maddux has the guys throwing strikes and being competitive on the bump.

Lucky Man! I heard the crowd was rocking. I grew up in Dallas and only moved to Chicago a year and a half ago. I was on hand to see Millwood face the Sox last Saturday. It's the only game the Rangers have lost in like the last 10.

I'm excited about how they're playing.

They said there were 37,000 plus there today.

Nolan has the pitchers throwing a lot, not worrying about if a reliever is coming in or not. It is the starters game and that has helped a lot.

GO RANGERS!!

i'm excited, but i've seen this before....start off a year hot and then fizzle out as the season grows older....i'll be more excited if they keep it going for a few more months

Yeah..I've been following the team since 1992 and your statement has some truth. However, I don't know if I've seen this kind of consistently good pitching from the Rangers since I've followed them.

Granted, the hot summer is coming up, but keep in mind, it's not like they have been as consistent as I think they can be at the plate. I know that sounds crazy, but look at their stats with runners in scoring position..they are really not that good.

went to the game against the Mariners on tuesday.

It's awesome to be able to go to a pro sporting event for less than a movie ticket. If this holds up the crowds out there will be lights out all summer. Could be a lot of fun.

I agree. Every starter seems to be doing his part (and going at least 6 innings). It says a lot when Scott Feldman is able to hang with Jered Weaver. I'm just disappointed Feldman wasn't able to pick up the win today. He deserved it.

Really, the only weak link right now is the bullpen. Luckily, the starters have been pitching deep enough to games as to not expose the pen much. O'Day was a good pickup, though, and Holland is only going to get better.

I haven't been this excited about a Rangers team since Johnny Oates was the manager.

i enjoy watching all the rangers hitters as well..but- keep in mind- the angels top 3 sp's have been out all season..once they have, santana, escobar, and lackey back- they will run away with this division like they always do..

Escobar is the only one that has had consistent success against the Rangers. I'm not afraid of Lackey or Santana. Santana doesn't pitch well on the road and the Rangers have seemed to hit Lackey well in the past.

lol--that's two of the best pitchers in the al right there..once lackey is healthy again, he will be a cy young calibur starter...im not sure about their stats against the rangers, but what matters is the record for the entire season.. the angels will run away..

Historically, I would say you are correct, but I don't think their bullpen or offense is near where it has been in the past. I like the Rangers' chances.

They're doing all of this with Josh Hamilton hitting .240 too. Once he heats up they're going to be unstoppable. To add the cherry on top the red uni's might be the cleanest uniforms in MLB

Yea I pull for them when they aren't playing the Astros. I was talking with a friend of my dads who is one of the trainers at the first game against the Angels and he told me that Ben Sheets will be with Rangers this year or next year after the surgey.
