Theriot has hit two HR's already tonight against the Padres. That dude is on a homerun tear!

Theriot couldnt buy a HR in hs or at LSU for that matter...but it was just a matter of time for his balls to drop and he be able to bench more than 145 lbs before he was able to hit the jack.
he hit something crazy like over .600 in his h.s. career. just didnt have the power until the majors...still doesnt have "power" but even with an Easton club in college only hit 1 HR his last yr at LSU and that was even a phantom HR against Alabama where the ball hit the warning track and bounced over the wall. But due to the haze and bright sun the umps thought it was a HR. Jim Wells 'bought lost it

Watching one of the games the other day I heard that sweet Lou told him he sees homerun power in him and he needs to increase his bat weight. So Ryan did and since then has hit 6 HRs in 12 games!! As good as Ryan is playing how about Aaron Hill in Toronto.
