It's on Netflix Instant Viewing right now, think the dvd was finally just released last week even though the movie is from 1971. Been wanting to see this damn movie since I was like 10 years old when the Metallica video for One came out. Finally got to watch it, thought it was very good, anybody else ever check it out?

I tried watching it years ago, but I was very bored with it. I felt there were some powerful scenes, but overall I just didn't like it. I do see the quality in it though.

I saw it in 1989 - found it at a video store in Kentucky. I was only 15 at the time, so I don't think I could really appreciate it or comprehend it. I remember it being pretty good, though. Kind of freaky the way the flashbacks were in color.

I had weird expectations for it since I've wanted to see it for 20 years and have seen clips of it in the Metallica video a thousand times. I guess I didn't want see it bad enough to pony up $20 for a bootleg copy on ebay though.
