His numbers are insane, but you have to take into consideration that he played 1-A ball and he didn't play against the competition that alot of other backs (Anthony Thomas, Cecil Collins, etc) played against.

If this is the guy from ACHS then I think he is still scoring TDs against my HS team!! Dude was a beast!! Had 5 TDs when he played us (Central Catholic in Morgan City).

For one he was high stepping SIDEWAYS into the endzone!!!

He does something with HEAP Roofing down in Plattenville, think he runs it but I am not positive. Apparently doing pretty well.

We scrimmaged them my senior year & we held our own against him (gang-tackling was the only thing that worked).

His little brother, Melvin, had a pretty decent career at Southern if I remember correctly.

Melvin was working on roofs for Germaine at one point but I don't know if he still is.

FWIW. Melvin and the 'Juice' were not brothers.

Actually, he had more than 8,000--not too shabby really considering that he missed half of one season recovering from a baseball-related injury...

he is the owner of a successful roofing company in plattenville.he rushed for over 8000 yards and played both ways most of the game, which most people dont know.he was an allstae linebacker,as well as a 2 time class a offensive mvp.he was a state champion powerlifter.at that time all classes competed against each other--so he outlifted guys from a to 4a.i know he held the highschool squat record for a while in his weight class, maybe deadlift too.at the class a state track meet he won both the shot put and 100 meters.oh--he was a pretty good baseball player too.he is married and has 2 or 3 boys.he is a real nice guy and loves lsu.tell him hello if you ever see him.he had some decent games as a tiger, but curley wanted him to "bulk" up and play fullback.he was a classsic power rb in a one back system--that is what archer recruited him to play.curley wanted to run the I and then amedee came in 94 with whatever the hell scheme he had(hybrid run and shoot bs).
