Did LSU host an SEC baseball tourney in the 80's?

The thread about the longest homeruns got me thinking. I remember skipping school one day to watch some day games at the box during the week. I believe it was during one of these games I saw a bomb hit by Will Clark. I think they were tourney games but I'm not sure. Got busted but it was worth it.

Thanks. Got home from the games that day and as soon as I walked in the door that evening, Mom asked me if I had skipped school and gone to baseball games at LSU.
