Can someone tell me where to find the best, up-close, satellite images for free? I've heard plenty of claims, but I can't find any that give good, close images.

Thanks in advance to the serious replies. To the silly, sarcastic answers, shame on you in advance.

Either way you aren't going to be able to catch me boning your wife in the backyard. Keep trying though.

You have to ask the neighbor to take the pictures...

Google Earth is some of the best I've seen that don't require GIS software.

Just ask these guys...

Best quality you can get. Tell them your tax dollars pay for it so they should be able to swing you a pic or two.

I downloaded Google Earth. It has some great features, and very good pictures. It doesn't zoom in very clear after a certain point. I am trying to map out a water main for a large facility and don't want to take all the time to do a scale drawing of the facility. I was hoping for a good clear image. A guy at work said his wife found a site where, "She can see you standing on your porch." Sadly, he doesn't know the site and is apparently too stupid to ask his wife. Oh well, I may can do something with this.
