Please keep him and his family in your prayers as from what i'm hearing things are worse than we originally thought. I cant give details at this moment, but please prayer for him as much as possible. When i can give all the info i will, but promised that i wouldn't do it right now. Sorry that i didnt put this in the sticky but i was hoping more people would see it and keep him in their prayers. This is a sad day and just goes to show you what we see on saturdays is just a GAME. It is in no way life, and sometimes as fans we take it too serious. Please keep this former LSU player, and future NFL star in your prayers. Thank you and God Bless.

God I hope its nothing to do with a head injury from a MVA. I'm not trying to speculate, I'm just praying that its not related. Stay strong D. Byrd.

Agreed, my thoughts and prayers go out to Demetrius Byrd and his family
ESPN is reporting that he was in "critical but stable condition"
i found it hard to believe that someone could have their car totaled.
espn has been updating their story rather frequently
ETA: I'm going to guess MVA is a Motor Vehicle Accident?
crazy and a sad situation, but the prognosis is good so let' send our prayers and thoughts his way to help that prognosis out
