when most LSU fans think of lsu sports ,and winning i hope people understand the reason we are very successful .I can remember the eighties ,the dale brown, mike archer, jack lamabe era when winning was not often and our beloved tigers were not a name on the lips of media in any of the three major sports.then came J. stanley (skip) bertman. hired in 1984 as the new head coach of our baseball team that he turned into a national power house and an elite program that changed the way baseball is played today. after turning around the baseball program and setting new standards for other teams accross the ncaa he stepped down and became our atheletic director, bringing abored a new football coach to bring us back to respectability and winning our first nc title in 44 years ,stepping up both men and womens basketball programs to be more competable, and bringing in our newest present baseball coach paul manieri who had a great season last year ,was the top recruiting class last year and was ranked #1 in baseball at the start of this season, skip is also responsible for the current coach in football les miles who has taken us to our second nc title in 5 years and is on his way to the top recruiting class in the country all these things were done by a man who loves our university, a brilliant man who not only showed he had the ability to coach ,but lead the university into the next century being among the top over all .he has stepped down as A.D. but has left us with a very promising future in sports to come, he will be missed but not forgotten, everytime we win a championship i will forever remember who is truly responsible, god bless you skip and thank you for the wonderful memories past and to come.

Please use paragraphs for easier reading. I feel like I am looking at a pile of puke scattered all over the place.
