Just making sure we're all on the same page. The goal for the 2009 season is to reach the BCS NCG on January 7, 2010 @ the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California (well how about that, a home game for you boys).

Here is your schedule for the '09 season:
(might want to make sure Petey has a copy of this. maybe he can hang it in his office)

Sept. 5, 2009 San Jose St.
Sept. 12, 2009 at Ohio State
Sept. 19, 2009 at Washington
Sept. 26, 2009 Wash. St.
Oct. 3, 2009 at California
Oct. 17, 2009 at Notre Dame
Oct. 24, 2009 Oregon State
Oct. 31, 2009 at Oregon
Nov. 7, 2009 at Arizona State
Nov. 14, 2009 Stanford
Nov. 28, 2009 UCLA
Dec. 5, 2009 Arizona

I don't get it. Are you an LSU fan or USC fan?

If LSU, why do you care so much about USC?

If USC, why do you care so much about LSU?

I think he is pointing out the fact that USC seems to choke a game away every year.

The answer, of course, lies in the question.

because with soooo much talent and being the best college football team, well, ever...they seem to get screwed year in and year out by actually having to show up for games and winning them. So I'm just trying to prepare them. San Jose State is right around the corner (and they laugh at us for scheduling Tulane)

Just making sure we're all on the same page. The goal for the 2009 season is to lose less than five games this time around and make a bowl game that is on January 1st, 2010 or after.

Good luck

As they should. USC has one of the toughest OOC schedules year in, year out. LSU makes a habit of playing teams like Tulane OOC.

The rest of the country (and this includes Ohio State) needs to man up and play tough OOC games and stop scheduling patsies. It's a ripoff to the fans that purchase the tickets to these "games".

Our turnaround is a guarantee, USC consistently loses a game or so to a team they should easily beat. But I like USC, so I hope they don't go down that road again.

I might have missed it, but where in the original post was LSU even mentioned?

Far from it. Last year was what I expected after the RP ordeal and the dual defensive coordinator fiasco. I just find it funny that USC fan starts a thread about breaking records at pro day yet nothing to show for it. Thus, this thread
(did Bama fan just call someone "insecure"?)

80+ wins and 10 losses in seven years, seven straiught BCS bowl games (6-1), finishes of 4, 1 or 2, 1, 2, 3, 2 or 3, 3. Two NC's. Scev consecutive 11+ win seasons. If that is nothing to show for it, so be it.
