Rick Effing Clausen.

Bo Pelini made a BAD first impression. How many slant routes for 10 yards can you give up before making your DB's press???????????

Even more ticked that he only won the NC game by two touchdowns.

I remember watching that game. As an outsider, it was a great game to watch. Very entertaining.

My actual quote: "I will throw up my Popeyes chicken if this clown wins the game for Tennessee."

I didn't follow through, but I wanted to. It was the closest I think I have ever been to actually crying after a game.

Yes. Especially since we finished up the rest of the regular season undefeated.

Why the frick did we sit on a TO at the end of the first half in FG range?

why did we do alot of things? Like coming out in the 2nd half passing most downs and running very little time off the clock..we didn't need to, we were up 3 touchdowns!

The one great memory from that game was when I went to watch the vols get off the bus. Some guy had a Krispy Kreme hanging from a fishin pole and when phat phil got off the bus he cast it in fron of his face.

The look on Phil's face was priceless... I still laugh when I recall it. One of the funniest moments I ever had at TS.

Blame that loss on Skip. He was all about the revenue. The game should have been played elsewhere. Get the team out of town, to allow them to be mentally & physically rested.

The entire state was still stunned by Katrina, and running blindly around knowing Rita was on its way. Traffic was a nightmare. UT and their fans had nowhere to stay. I heard MANY, MANY comments, that we deserved the loss, because of the way we treated thee opposing team. It probably served as motivation for UT.

It was a terrible atmosphere to "play" a football game in. And LSU fans would have bitched to high heaven if we had to go to play UF after dual hurricanes in Fla, and we faced similar adversity.
