why thanks 4lyfe. Didn't know ESPNU kept up to date on this, DD referenced they could take 2 more but you are probably right on full class.

yep -seoond that another Sylvia, Lisa Leslie or even a Candace at ctr. but they are going to be good with the players they have when next year when they gain experience p[laying together.

They'd be great with another big and a Semoine ;)

LA has that top ten player that's around 6'6, and she can shoot the ball well. The number one recruit is from the same school Katherine Graham went to in Alabama.

If we sign those two, there's no way we don't win at least one game in a final four. We'd be stacked.

The two kids reference earlier - the "6'6" kid and the "#1 player from Graham's high school" - are in the class of 2010. So they wouldn't be coming in next season. They'd be huge signings though. Also, the young lady in next year's class named Erica Williams isn't a JC kid. She's a local kid who went to Southern Miss outta Dutchtown and decided to leave after her freshman season. She'll have three seasons of eligibility left when she officially joins the team next season.

The two kids in the 2010 class are here....

Player Rankings

The kid from Graham's high school is ranked #1 in the nation in that class - Kaneisha Horn.

The 6'6" kid is from Terrebonne parish (Vandebilt Catholic). Her name is Theresa Plaisance and her mom is a college coach. Supposedly, her fundamentals are very good. She just played in the girls Top 28 last week. There's articles about her in the Advocate from last week if you go on their website.

Good info. What Van has accomplished this year has been extremely impressive IMO.

Considering how young this team is, and the way they were "thrown in the fire" right away, I think he's done a masterful job. Remember, they were 12-9 at one point and in sixth place in the SEC. They finished winning their last five SEC games and tied for second place in the conference. Van and his staff did a bang-up job if you ask me. If they make it to the sweet sixteen in the NCAA tournament, I think this can be graded as a very successful season.

Yeah, it's really hard to get an inside track on where LSU stands, but you have to assume we'll be a major payer for both. Van has exceptional connections throughout Mississippi and Alabama; that's why I posted info on the top recruit.
